5900 xt problem

Anyone know why my card doesnt switch to 3D mode when im playing windowed ??
Its running 300 core/700 men standart 2d. And my 3d settings are 400/700.
Isnt it suposse to change into 3d mode auto?

Im lost here..would be cool to use those extra 100 mhz on core while playing

Who is the manufacturer of the card ?
I have same GPU, using last official detonators and after reading this, I scanned all resolution 800x600 up (in 32bpp mode (=true color)), everything works absolutely fine.

Ahh found out why...XT card have some auto down throttle mode..when its getting to hot (was 70 degrease on core after 15 min) . So I did some tweaking; new bios flash and a better cooler ( only 49 on core now -after meny hours play). Running 450 core/800 mem atm
