500 mhz x]

got this old p3 500 mhz with a tnt2 ultra on, keeps on getting this shitty "render creation failed", never have gotten that on my main comp after SI came. is this cause of low RAM (think i have 256 on it) or some gfx settings?

It's an old Pc, could be lots of things from, crappy drivers.
Try downloading one of those Nvidia driver removal programs and then download the latest drivers.

Or maybe the contacts of the Video card to the slot is corroded.
Try taking out the cards and rub them with an Eraser to clean off the corrosion and do that same in the slots, make sure you blow away the Eraser rubber.


Try reseating you Memory.

Two things you can do to solve this:
- upgrade DirectX
- install latest drivers for your video card

psst i got that with shrouded isles when trying to use windows 2000

i think theres been some quote somewhere saying upgrade to the latest service packs (service pack 4 at the moment i think), and the usual drivers/direct x updates, but you'll notice win2k isnt on the supported operating lists

if anyone is interessted, seems the gfx card (tnt2 ultra) just didnt support the SI engine. classic client was np tho
