How much more gimped can we go? I will respec to 34 hammer, 50 sc, 42 shield 20 parry after I reopen my account. Can't be much worse then my current spec 42 hammer, 42 shield,46 sc 13 parry.

go 42 axe, 42 sheild and 48 SC and ur be laughing.
great spec, only a gimp would spec 50 SC, seeing as the shaman buff is better, and its a waste of points

Axe sucks if left below 44. With 42 axe you don't get any decent chains/styles compared to hammer. Provoke owns and Revenge-> Thor's answer is great for pve. With 34 hammer and RR5 +11 from items i get 50 weapon skill -> decent damage. Haven't played for a while but if things are as they were back in september thanes are the last peeps in a group to get buffed, and its gonna be even more so since they turned end regen to conc spell.
Anyway leaving sc to 48 instead of 50 would increase my parry by 4 to 24 since i wouldn't be spending any more points on shield or weapon. 2% more parry or a better buff. I'd take the buff, cause I think it will benefit me most in pve. and also in rvr.
Thanes would be great, but some sort of mix up has happened somewhere, since somehow my thane has got hold of caster hitpoints.
1284 without buffs with capped con and +170 from items ( I even spent 10 points on con when I created my char). I wonder anyone has been even more unlucky to get even less hp.

Your hps are a joke. Are you sure you havent forgot to buy back con? I had 1430 hp with capped con and +160-70 hp (cant remember). With the 41 buff i go beyond 1600 hps depending on what equipment i have.

Nope, it's just bad bad bad luck. It was one of the reasons I started to hate (enough to quit daoc) thanes in rvr, couldn't do much cause I died of 2 nukes. Feels kind of stupid when you have less hps then rogues. But still thanes own in pve, even with low hps, since there is no reason to kill mobs that leave you with 3mins downtime

my ROUGE sb has 1340 unbuff hp capped and 1804 with only the 2nd to last shaman buffs yellow NOT red

i have 1760 hps buffed, not bad imo if u act as a back up tank using ur nuke.
oh, and 42 axe may not give u any chains, but u get havoc, which is way better then any hammer styles
and axes look cooler
