Not too long now until the continuation in the i-series of LANs from Multiplay UK brings about i4, a 500 player LAN party. This is being held in Swindon over 9-11 June. We still have places available, so head over to the i-series website to sign up.

Fed up with the lag on the internet? Try coming along to a LAN and getting 1000 times the bandwidth of ISDN connections and sub 10ms pings! We use switched network connections throughout our network meaning the ultimate in performance.

We'll be running multiple dedicated servers for the main multiplayer games, such as Q3, UT, Tribes, Half-Life and many mods. We'll also be running a number of tournaments at the event, signups for which will be opening shortly. The anticipation is beginning to build on our message boards, so why not come along and join in the fun?

Davehart,

You do generally have to bring your own PC yes. However, we do have 30 client machines provided by IBM (min spec P3-500 with 32MB TNT2s) that we let people use who are coming from a long way away or who can't get their pcs there. Drop us a line at enquiries@multiplay.co.uk and we'll see what we can do. These don't cost anything more to hire over and above the 3-day ticket.
