Checking CLQ (a disgusting habit, but something you must do occassionally) I noticed that overall on line gaming accounts for 40,964,700,736 minutes! Given that CS accounts for 2/3rds of the online gaming world that makes the total time spent playing CS globally as :

27,309,800,490 man / woman (got to keep it PC) minutes or
455,163,341 person hours or
18,965,439 human days or
51,959 mankind years
51 Millennia

Now Im no historian but weren't we dinosaurs or something 51k years ago. Just think what wecould do with 51k year's of time. Cure cancer? Invent a Star Trek teleporter (just an idea)?

Oh my brain hurts, Im off to shot something.....

Dinosaurs were 65 million years ago. I learnt that from "My First Illistrated Dinosaur Encylopedia"

Ah good point... 51k Millenia is a lot though. Just think of all those river of fire failed firework shows and dodgy 'Dome' projects, in fact I estimate there would be about 51,000.

Woohoo, River of Fire I loved that so much....ooooo no I did not i was doing something more interesting thats it watching paint dry.....least that did not cost any tax payers money...................

Now we have an idea for a CS map.... the Dome! Just think as CTs you have the option of rescusing Lord Falconer from the clutches of the 'evil' terrorists, or go an ice cream kiosk. The map would start with the CTs at the Body zone where they have to queue up to get into the map proper. As this would last for more than 5 mins, Lord Falconer would lose everytime. Alternative maps could centre round the Mind zone where CTs and Ts could battle it out whilst trying not to be distracted by the 'amazing' optical illusions. Ts could plant the bomb setting up the blazing river of fire (shouldn't be too hard to model!)

I knew 51k millenia's worth of evolution would lead us to this one idea!

Ok it is, but .... erm no it just is. 51,000,000 years of CS must have left us further up the evolutionary tree rather than in the primordial soup of 'AWPs are gr8 / sh**te", "I prefer the x (where x is a gun in CS) do you?", and the obligatory "We should have new guns / maps / models in CS version x (where x is a number > 1 and reflects that CS is a finished product with only updates and bug fixes to come)".

there is a post on the general forum about it as well.

Moving Target stop the spamming in the cs forum, go do it in the general forum where they dont give a damn.

Hmmmm, that is all of course based on the fact that CS accounts for 66% of all online gaming...which is complete, and utter bollocks.
