ive never taken any form of drugs, but have seen what happens to peeps who have taken Es, how does one person survive 40,000 of em?

You say E isn't toxic. It might be a good idea to distinguish between street E and pure MDMA.

The latter isn't toxic as far as we know. Can't say the same thing about every 'E' pill out there.

I know the chances are low but I suspect at least some of what he has taken is likely to have been cut with something nasty.

I find this story very hard to believe in all honesty for a number of reasons. First of all, 25 pills a day for four years? Pills don't really work after the third day in a row (after all how are you supposed to get that warm happy feeling when you've got no seratonin left?), so taking them after that would be a fairly pointless exercise. Also if he stopped taking them 7 years ago, there's a good chance he was taking extreme amounts in the "good old days" when 1-2 pills would do you a night, so how on earth he got through 25 I'll never know, unless he's an elephant. Pillheads are however known for their bullshit, so I suspect the figure's about a quarter of what it says in that article.

not true, pills do work just decreased ammounts, for example you can perspone a comedown by taking increasing dosages over a period of time. At this point you are simply taking 3-4 pills a day just to remain 'normal'.

I do think that 25 a day is a bit excessive tho.

Hmm tbh I think it's a load of cock. Thinking back I don't think that even the most advanced pillhead I knew back in the day (10+ years ago) could have managed more than 5 in a day without their head exploding. Or maybe dutch pills were just better or something.

Personally I wonder how he paid for it all. What did your average E cost 10 years ago? I seem to recall dutch pills costing anything between 5 and 50 guilders depending on what was in them, so call it between 1.5 and 15 pounds?
say the average brit pill cost a 5er 10 years ago, Mr A would have been laying out 20K+ a year to consume all 40000 of them in a 9 year period.

You really need to get rid of that opinion. I've known a few people that have taken close to that number, and a couple of people who were, at one stage of their lives, doing pills every day. I have seen people take scary amounts of pills. A couple of girls I know got themselves into this situation and were doing dozens a day. Fortunately for them they sorted themselves out early enough. It's not bullshit. It is possible. It's also very very scary.
