3Com EuSynth disables wave balance (how to uninstall?)

My computer somehow managed to get 3Com Eusynth installed while testing a couple of audio recording programs... Now when my computer reboots I get a msg sounding like this..

3Com EuSynth : ADI/ICH hardware not present. 3Com Eusynth will be unavailable

Thats all fine and dandy but it also disables my wave sound so everytime I reboot not only do I have to click ok for the popup-msg to disappear but also I have to "check" the flag in my wave table (volume panel) .....

All I want to do is uninstall EuSynth but I cant find it anywhere on my computer other than in my control-panel and it gives me no opportunities to uninstall it anywhere ....

Plz excuse my bad spelling (if that is the case  )and dont be afraid to use technical lingo (I'm not a complete newbie :D )

Thx in advance and flames is welcome as long as constructive

regards

I have no idea what 'EuSynth' is, but if it's disabling wave output I'm guessing your PC thinks it's a bit of missing hardware. Try looking under device manager in the Sound, video and game controllers to see if it's stuck anything there.

If that doesn't work try using the Sounds and Multimedia control panel to change your primary playback device from the Eu thing back to whatever your card is.
