.39 version query

Just carried out a clean install of Windows XP, loaded bf1942 plus dc to the latest patches but for some reason my in game server list only shows a small amount of .39 servers available for use even though there are loads on there.

If I try to join any of the greyed out .39 servers I get a message saying 'cannot connect to server'. Does anyone have any ideas why this might be happening or is anyone else experiencing this ?

some are probally patched to the latest BF1942 patch (1.45) some are not, game.net are not patched yet we are still using 1.4

Before I did the clean install tho there were far more servers showing, some of which I played on ??
