I love the use of a mincer along with necromancer/cabalist, and ofc the fop bot 
That way u can run ablative on the mincer so the mobs hit your pet for 0 (-65) damage, and damage shield hitting them for a bit more than 100 damage.
It ofc depends on what level the mob is... but just for you to get the idea
switch mincer for a 44rejuv friar, and you get Heal over Time (HoT) which is a health regen buff, that lasts for about 30 seconds, and it heals quite well.
The good thing is that it heals the entire group, and won't give the friar any aggro... it uses alot of power, but just use a power% template to boost that power pool, you won't be hit anyways, so no need for ub3r ph3ar template.
Again, try using paladin on that spot, to run red AF chant (so don't use spec af, as they don't stack) and see how incredible silly damage the mobs give when you have a millionbillion AF
It all depends what you want to farm etc... so I made one of each... and it's worth it!

agree about having a mincer in there - nowt like zooming around TOA farming spots - looking for artis etc, then swiching to ablative for when doing encounters.
another benefit (lets assume hes ML10) - is free water breathing, and group teleport - SOS for hairy escapes

either:
- FoP Bot + Necro servant + Mincer ( up to hold several red mobs or a big purple that hits low dam, dam shield dosent use much power )
-FoP bot + Mincer + ML9 Cabby ( Ml9 cabby can hold much higher mobs and altho dam shield uses more power it does much more dam then necro one, think if you put pet on passive you can get powa from fop)

However, you're 100% right about the main advantage of the cabby over the necro being access to ML9 pets, though.

You may remember this pre-ToA tactic for infinite power in old school full-group dragon raids? Worked extremely well then and will work extremely well on classic.

if theres 2 of you playing then id have 2 clerics and a mini / necro
easy to duel acc them, doing it with m8 right now and theres not much we cant farm
question to tosen- can talos be done with this setup? fop bb full serv and a mini? o ye and the poc named mobs?
