Been trying to get my geforce 2 card to give a 2nd output to my television.
Using the nview extension the only options i have found and that it lets me do is, either i see the monitor out, or the television output, not both at once.

Ive been looking around webbies for info and ive found mention of clicking some button to extend settings to a 2nd monitor on the settings menu of display properties. But this isnt there.

On Nview extension ive tried detect displays and told it to set the view modes to clone, none of this works. Still only lets me use one or the other not both at once.

spec is :

Geoforce 2 mx/mx400
Windows XP

Any one got any ideas or suggestions to try?

I used a programme called TVTool. (www.tvtool.de).

I found that when I had the TV out active and wanted to use the monitor, it would switch to stupidly low refresh rates (50hz). It depends if your monitor can handle that refresh rate or if it's putting itself into standby mode cos it doesn't like the refresh rate.

Which manufacturers MX is it? Some cut corners and didn't fit the correct RAMDACs to drive two VGA-based connections.
