May have been posted before, but this useful program can be downloaded here:

During normal gameplay if you don't have a file (map, mod, etc..,) that is required, it's downloaded to your cache dir. The CACHE.INI file in that directory maintains the list of the downloaded files and the filename assigned to it by UT (*.uxx). The default setting for deleting all files in the cache dir is 30 days...if you don't physically move/rename the files to their appropriate directories. This means that all of those files you waited to download are gone....
