I havent watched too much of Season 5 in a while because im catching up with the seasons that i have missed, i have just finished Season 3 and in the next few days im going to move onto Season 4.

However, during Season5, when CTU was under attack from some chemical agent which wiped out half of CTU, Kim seemed detatched from Jack, as if something happened between them.

Yet through 1-3 its just been getting stronger the bond between them, and instead of being with Chase in Season 5 she looked to be with some old[old!] guy... Does something happen in Season 4 which ruins the relationship somewhat?

Yes, end of season 4 is what causes the problem. I shall say no more.

Nice to see them end the series properly by bringing the chinese back, leaves it at a perfect point to make the first movie. Jack trying to escape from China with half the red army on his back.

Most rubbish and contrived ending ever.

So I'll be crossing this off this list with lost (if lost doesn't sort out its ideas)

I kept expecting the Chinese guy to say "Oh erro Mr Brauer, why you breaking my bawrs Mr Brauer?"

Good ending to the season anyway, I enjoyed it. A bit like Capricorn One I thought.

For the past 8 episodes Jack's been trying to get the recording to safety, when he could've just played it down the phone, from the bank at the very start!

In the final episode, the plot is still focused on a recording......


Season 6: Jack has 24 hours to lay down 4 miles of railway track, or the prison guard takes him to the showers oO

Everything is crap again, 24, Lost, Dr.Who(wtf?), no BSG and I'm even watching the Apprentice :\

I'd have prefered a more upbeat ending and maybe had the Chinese kidnapping Jack happen at the begning of the next series, which could have been set a couple of month later.

The Chinese must be able to move fast. I mean, Jack only reappeared 24 hours earlier. All his actions during the day should have been confined to the CTU personel and the DoD. So how did the Chinese discover he was back so quick.

I know Jack isn't exactly quiet in his methods, but all I can think is that when the President was saying that Jack would be taken care of, he meant that he'd phoned his mates in China and told them he was Alive.

Looking forward to the next series (Which has been confirmed) and the film

It'll turn out that Jack was actually handed over to the Chinese at the end of series 4 and all of Series 5 was actually a drug induced state that he is now waking up from.

Or to simplify that, "It was all a dream!!"

That would be a blatent ripoff of Dal'ass' This is an American TV network we are talking about though, any network that can cancel Firefly needs urgent brain surgery

Invasions been cancelled to. Ok, not quite up there in the same vein as Firefly, but I was enjoying it. Yet another series that ends on a cliffhanger to try and get a second season Can anyone say Space Above and Beyond!

I am not suprised Invasion was cancelled, it has to be the most 'slow burn' series ever on TV. The first 12 episodes were totally devoid of any action or answers, ok it improved as time went on but in my opinion the concept as presented on TV was flawed. A shame because with a decent budget the original idea could have been a cracker.

The first 1-3 episodes where ok, but most of the season I just kept wanting something else to happen. The only decent episode was when the sheriff went to the AirForce base and saw the downed plane pilots, the experimenting and stuff, that was actually kinda decent.
I've no doubt another 'body-snatchers' clone will be out, just hope its better.

Just watched the last 6 eps over the past two days, I have to say that they certainly spun it along a bit, why bauer couldn't transmit the audio over pda/phone I'll never know.

Glad he shot Henderson, snidey git.
Would have liked to have seen Logan grovel on live TV tbh, but the bugging device laid by Bauer was skillful.
What happened to Wayne Palmer, last I saw of him he was with the First Ladys aide.

Loved the ending, bringing the chinese in like that was beautiful, makes a very interesting next series/film.

and gogogo Curtis, by far the best of the rest.
