Well i do have to agree with you there, but that's just another character we've seen from the start off to the mortuary. I kinda expected another character to die, and you know another character will probably be shot in the arse and cast off before season 5 is over.

Let's hope that it isn't going to be anymore of the CTU bunch, otherwise it's Jack on his own.

They've still got a few characters that I know and love, kinda clinging to the hope that you-know-who hasn't actually died but the way this season is going it looks like that's likely

This one is starting to feel like a final one, seen a couple of series start to do this as they were winding up... However, killing off established cast makes room for other characters to come take my heart so I am hoping thats what happens now!

Considering the film has been given a green light for filming I can see them announcing that this is the final series and 24 will live on in as 3 movies to be released over the next 5 years. Either that or season 6 is going to be basically using a 90% new cast and that could hurt the ratings, people like myself got into the show because of characters like Palmer and Michelle. Another thing, this new president is annoying and needs a head shot asap, Mike (chief-of-staff) has turned into a pussy and you all remember what a strong character he was when he served under Palmer. I honestly feel the series is losing it's way by killing off so many long term characters in such a short space of time. As good as Keifer is he can't carry the show on his own.
