Why ? I personally found it mind-numbingly dull, highly predictable, and ham acting. Can Jack not make a phone call without sweating, crying, shouting, andlooking over his shoulder while killing 94 ninjas ?

I tried to watch the first season 3 times and almost lost the will to live.

What the fuck? 24 is the most awesome show on tele, it keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Read in Zoo this week that they are going to make 3 24 films and Keifer Sutherland has jsut signed the contract to star in the first one that begins filming this year.

Season 5 is the best yet, id recomend anyone whos not seen any 24 to watch it - you dont need to start from season 1 (but it woul paint a better picture if you could)

the syntox nerve gas went off in CTU and killed a lot of the staff, jack and co we're sealed in the situation room and edgar was trapped outside, he died, his last word was "chloe?"

Whats worse than your friend die ? Watching your friend dying through a window knowing theres nothign you can do about it <cries>

What made it more sad for me is the "clunk clunk" of the clock didnt sound for the last few seconds, just silence <cries some more>

Haha yea i personally think Elisha's character is ok, but my mum wow she fucking hates her!

I'm still waiting to watch episode 11 and 12, as i'm not paying for it, and awaiting it to appear on limewire for download i can't wait to see it.

Edgar is one of my favourite characters, he is lovely and adorable, if you watched Season 4 you would see a more in depth side to the character from season 5.

Can't wait to watch it, i knew what was going to happen when i read on tuesday what happened, (i like spoiling things for myself) i was shocked it was so unexpected and tbh, if i was living in the US. I would have been shouting RUN YOU FAT FUCK! at the screen lol

I would recommend 24 to anybody it's my favourite show atm, it's on Sky One on Sundays at 9pm if anyone wants to pop in for Episode 7, i'll be watching although i've already watched 1-10 about 3 times each

p.s if anyone knows a quick and easy way of obtaining the latest episodes, aka 11 and 12 then pls PM me , i can't seem to get them anywhere for some reason .

24 rocks end of story, my favourite TV full stop at the moment.

As for Edgar, I generally liked the guy but occasionally his character really got on my nerves. I was much more upset that they killed Michelle off, I thought she was a great character and they could have really developed her story if they wanted to. At least they didn't kill Tony off, I am not sure I could of stood that, Tony is every bit as good a character as Jack and really deserves a leading role before long.

Yeah I am not a 24 fan, I have all the episodes on DVD, 24 poster on my living room wall and a signed Keifer Sutherland photo. Infact I am such a 24 hater I even bought the 24 soundtrack....

They have killed off too many good characters this season, 1-2 a year is acceptable but 6-7 is beyond belief. Even worse they have just killed of probably the strongest character in the show who could have had some major storylines over the next few years. Frankly this all smacks of 'lets lower the wage bill for next season'. Season 5 has been breathtaking so far but the way I feel at the moment I am not sure the showing is going in the right direction any more, no show can prosper and improve when you kill off 90% of the established cast.

What is season 6 going to be? 20 episodes of Chloe glaring at people and acting like a robot? You can't take a show with a great ensemble cast like 24 and get rid of 90% of the cast, it just won't work. The strength of the show is that whilst Jack is the star there are 5-6 other people who the audience can empathise with, they have pretty much killed them all off this season.
