1) Is the wooden sword good for anything?
(it has an awefull lot of room for upgrading but I havent tried upgrading it yet, is it worth it?)

2) Im at chapter .. 7 I think and Im wondering do I ever get to wield a stick

1. If you upgrade it to full it is the second best weapon in the game I believe. I didn't bother.

2. No. Shame really cos that sounds quite fun actually.

hehe ok thanks for the reply :)

But last question :) what is the best wep in the game?
Is that the one that is "hidden in the dark alley" where
"only a true ninja can get to it"? (or something like that anyhow :p)

If you do a Live! update you can get a bo-staff (like donatello had :D) from the beginning I think.

The weapon down the dark alley is a throwing blade, that returns to you like a boomerang, it's good for keeping enemies at bay.

I never got past the first boss. I suck :(

/point :p

hehe I allso struggeled with the first boss but that was because I didnt know
that I could use potions in combat but I ended up taking him out anyhow

I used a cheap ass tactic tho :) I just jumped up the wall and came crashing down on him then jumped away
before he could hit me then repeated this till he caved in and started talking
to me ^^

It's worth going for it again grem, once you've mastered basic combat the game becomes very addictive.

You have to block or roll in combat sometimes. Each boss has a different technique, so its worth learning the moves.

Took me ages to get past the first boss but after that it was much easier. Had me addicted so much I played it hours upon hours until I completed it. One of the best games of this year imo.

One of the most frustrating for me...the first fight with Anya (big pink demon bitch) had me screaming in frustration like a little girl.

yes, thatone was tricky for me to couldnt get the hang of it for some reason
so in the end I just slugged it out using all my potions etc :p

1 thing that helps to know is jumping towards her in the star then pressing y doing a
flying swallow will knock her down then do a xyxxx combo
then use inferno (inferno will allso block her pink balls thingy spell)
to knock her down once she goes up again and xyxxx once
she is on the ground

repeat till dead, but there is probably a ton of better ways to do this but
like I said I never got the hang of it :)

Alma, I think her name is.

She's the reason I stopped playing ninja gaiden for about a year. Could not for the life of me get past her. I started from scratch recently and managed to beat her. Turns out she's one of the the toughest bosses in the game (at least, as far as I know - I'm on level 13 now).

Persevere, once you get the hang of it, it's pretty damn good.

after having completed the game Id say alma is too hard for that early a boss :)
spirit doku isnt too easy without alot of ninpo either tho.

I didn't use any on him, just lots of flying swallows.

he just blocks mine, only thing I can use flying swallow for in that fight is
making him drop his guard. But then again I might be doing it wrong.
I ended up using ALOT of inferno on him (he dodges about 60% of it)
