Hrmm how will i be able to run more than one Daoc?

Trying to start up another Daoc but i get the msg that i cant coz i already runnig 1 daoc.

yep ^^ only with 2x old client or 1x old client and 1x SI

I had 2 x SI running on this comp today...except for the annoying thing that both chars move when u move one of them it works fine.. can get a bit laggy thou

Isnt too hard assuming you realise you need 2 separate installations of daoc and 2 accounts activated.

Then double click camelot icon 1 and double click camelot icon 2.

I have had little trouble with this although the fps soon suffer terminal failure after spending anytime in congested areas such as the capital cities and portal keeps.

Yep, you need to install the two copies of DAOC and SI in two separate directories (or you can just copy the complete directory).

Then set windowed=1 in the user.dat file

Then start up the two versions separately and log in on two different accounts.

It works fine for me, except I sometimes get a bug where the resolution on the second account starts off wonky. No sure why this happens.

you can set the windowed mode in prefreces-> performance

no need to edit files

this "two seperate install" soloution for getting 2 clients running, does this work for people with less than 512 MB's RAM?
