If this is against any rules then forget it I'll lvl the slow way and a mod can delete this post.

You cannot use a different game.dll. It would be repatched on startup or if you replaced the dll after the patch it would cause the game to crash.

If you ask about someone may have a DAOx for version 1.60 lying about.

You can run the same installation (atleast) twice with SI... it lags like hell tho...

Running it on a Dual P3 1GHz, 640MB SDRAM, GeForce 4 Ti4200 (why, oh why doesnt daoc supports dualprocessor systems :()

I can run 2 different copies of SI no probs.

Run 1 version in full screen mode. Alt tab to minimize then start a windowed version of your second copy of SI in 800x600 mode. Runs sweet as a nut on my comp.
Comp spec is: AMD 2000+ / MSI Ti 4800 128meg gfx / 1gig of ddr ram.

Then you can alt tab again to bring up full screen version. I played for 4 hours on the trot only with minimal lag on windowed version.

Worked fine for me by replacing dll after patching.
