2 cool ideas for future patches

Daoc should introduce group vs group duels. This would be very cool.
Or bg vs bg duels.


Second idea:

Weapon crafters should be allowed to give a name to the weapons they craft when they are legendary.

Would be nice if crafted weapons showed not just the crafter's name, but also the names of whoever did the spellcrafting and the alchemising on it too.

mythic wanted to put in that SC'ers could give a name to the sc'ed item, but as it was abused they gave up on that and the game names the item now. So I dont think this will be allowed .

Maybe they could make it so you could choose from a set of words like:

First word:

Dark
Light
Heavy
Strong
Weak

Second Word:
Lurikeen
Firey
Kobold

Third word:
Smasher
Slasher
Biter
Taunter

So you could have a Dark Lurikeen Smasher or a Strong Firey Taunter.

the idea of fg vs fg fights is good in theory. but it seems like mythic is trying to introduce larger scale rvr (zerging)
besides its not to hard setting one up if you use irc and hw

but having championships, guild group versus guild group would be extremely fun. rps wouldnt have to be involved

Actually it was never abused - becuase it never introduced - even on Pendragon.

Notably this is never an issue in games where crafters can name items (such as SWG). Why? because after the 25625653364384934736546th identical longsword required to level up your crafter, people are generally bored of 'humourous' names and so just accept the default.
