2.10 only raid. Thu 8th 8.45pm

Meeting at : Stygia Haven, 8.45pm for 9pm departure sharp.

Aim: To take revenge on Runi (and the evil demons of lag, which buggered up the end of tonight's otherwise smooth raid).

Bring: Greater Nereid potions & casters bring power pots.

Sign up if interested, with class, level and name of character, but please note that places will be assigned based on class balance and group needs, plus priority to those that missed 2.10 on my raid today, so not everyone will get a space. We were let down today by several people who took a space and then didn't show, so if you sign up please TURN up.

We especially need a decent number of rejuv clerics and at least one theurgist and one paladin.

We are still short of healing and, after how the last raid went and seeing as we still have no pbt this time around, I really want to fill the last spot with a rejuv cleric. If we don't get another rejuv cleric, I'm a little concerned for our chances, but if normal tactic doesn't work, we'll see if one of our two cabby's can cope with focussing on Runi instead. Plenty of time to have two bites at the cherry anyway.

Sorry to all those that just failed again.

I'm not running any more raids now. Not enough people willing to help out with rejuv clerics, pbt theurgists or paladins. Those that do sign up frequently don't bother showing up and don't even let me know about it.

What happens is we take a raid light in strength, then one or two tiny mistakes that get made end up wiping us all, instead of being something the raid can recover from. Sadly there is always an element of human error, it's understandable, we ain't all perfect, (so i'm not pointing the finger at anyone on the raid) and we do actually need to be able to cope with it when it happens.

To be honest - and I'm not faulting anyone that actually showed today, I have nothing but sympathy for all of you and feel awful that I led you to failure again - the Realm could use a bit more community spirit. Fewer buffbotted enhance clerics and more active rejuv clerics that can heal worth a damn instead of standing prettily in the corner, more support classes and more volunteering to help MLs that you might not need anymore, but THEY need YOU.

This has been my first and probably last rant on FH. Not that anyone cares.

And now I'm off to get drunk.
