There is a post about this coming up on the enws page.
BAsically the new maps are taking up massive cpu usage, not the voice comms.
Valve obviously didnt do extensive testing of this.
The 16/16 servers will mean the lag should hopefully stay lower until valve fix this.

in other news: just been on BW and no voice comms? errr wtf, why bother with new patch other than to mess up the game with the new (well old) uber mp5 (jump spray pray get hs's with no skill, mp5) if u aint going to hvae comms on the server

Voice comms is down on some servers.
It is down for testing reasons afaik, to see what is causing high cpu usage.
1-4 and 9-12 have it on. Cant remember what other ones do.

I prefer 12 player servers anyway... such as, ooh I don't know. The nuke dust militia ones ;-)
