Too much arterial fat will clog your arteries and make you dead. Eating fat does not make you fat. Saturated fat raises cholesterol levels. Most saturated fats are found in meats and bakery products. It's worth noting that polyunsaturated fats (Fish) and monounsaturated fats (Olive Oil) counter this effect considerably.

And no, I'm no porker. I'm perfectly fit and healthy, with very low levels of cholesterol and triglycerides.
