I know a total of 6, but I know that there`s at least 1 more above 1k+ skill. Nydira + one more should be VERY near now too.

But as someone said, I won`t give out names for obvious reasons. But try jordheim and bjarken, with a bit of luck... :)

Btw, do NOT contact me for sc. MAYBE once 1.59 is released.

Yep you will get killed, dont try...

Thats not a threat, its a promise..

Once 1.59 comes out, you will see SC-ers pop up everywhere. But its a f.....g crime to click 75 times to craft just 1 gem. Not even mentioning the 6 retries to get 99% gems. Which totals to 450 clicks per gem. 1800 clicks per armorpiece. 10800 clicks for a fullset of armor. Roughly that is..

hehe fun to read about this since it seems you didn't know but spellcrafting is capped at 1049 when the last gem (999) turns grey so having 1100+ is pretty impossible ;)

This spelcrafting issue makes no sence to me what so ever.

If you struggle all the way to 1000+ with Spellcrafting, why wont you take orders? Its like struggling with a hard education and then when you are finished, refuse all jobs you are offered and the opportunity to make and earn money.

Alot of clicks? Alot of time?

Then raise the damn price, Midgard needs you more then ever. Its close to impossible to get your gear imbued.

I would love an explenation to this, and dont tell me "omg ffs dont you realize how spammed I would become with jobs etc / Dont you know how many clicks it takes / Dont you know how long it takes!?" Because the answer to that is to raise your price so that you as a person are pleased and feel that its worthwhile doing the work.

As I said, you are truly needed.

Eragrim, the reasons are simple...

For every gem you need upto 50 items from the merchant, chance to make a 99 quality gem is 1 in 6 approximately. Therefore on an overcharged item you may need upto 1200 items from the merchant although in reality it is normally around 600 items. Currently the Spell crafters have to buy these items 1 at a time from the merchant, which means 5mins+ standing at the merchant clicking on the 'buy' button before we even start trying to make stuff. In my experience the average overcharged item takes 20-30mins to buy materials and then make the gems.

Most customers want a whole set of 6-8 items done which results in the Spellcrafter spending between 2 and 4 hours crafting per customer, hence most people only have time to supply services to friends/guildies or when they are in need of cash.

Lastly, unlike other craft skills it isnt possible to manufacture items and retain a stock as every order is specific to the customer. With Weaponcraft/Armourcraft/Tailoring/Fletching you can spend a few hours when you feel like it crafting to replenish you vault stock. With Alchemy you only need to do one craft per item when people ask as quality makes no difference on procs/charges and little difference on potions.

Thank you Shilak for the explenation. It seems to be a very frustrating process :<

Its just that it feels rather strange to hide as a spellcrafter with 1000+ skill. Instead of doing that I wish all spellcrafters could charge a higher price to make it worthwhile.

Sliderbars to buy materials. Now if i want to buy essence of life (one of the base components of which i need about 2000 per armor) i have to click for every single piece. When sliderbars hit the scene its 1 click and then slide the bar to 100 units. So its 20 clicks compared to 2000 per amor... go figure

Heh. I have yet to see someone offer me anything that would make me go through the hazzle of oc:ing a full set. =)

Best deal I`ve gotten so far was a fella that paid me 200g / item to just imbue it. He had all gems. That I can accept.

And in 1.59 you can not only buy in stacks of 10, you can also make macros so that you actually buy x amount of one material in one click. I think lots of sc:ers will pop up then.

<realises he is in the wrong forum>

4 hours work for an o/c suit seems about right

even a thid armour (not overcharged) will take 1-2 hours

kinda sucky to see ppl don't wanna pay a fair price. had 1 bloke who was offended for the 100 gold i asked for it

/on a side note
my prices for level 51 stuff are 5 gold a point and 20 gold per overcharge point for all you alts on alb / pryd. That is if i like you

if you have expensive gems (above tier 7 or so) ill charge materials seperatly.

Yet you complained so much when I raised my prices back when I first hit 1k+? =)
