10 USA PVP facts

I played on the beta pvp server usa and on andred and mordred .

These happened on both servers and will happen here.

1) 2 or 3 Guilds pl like mad and go round ganking everyone , when everyone catches them up in levels they make excuses and quit or disband , blaming eachover that they now suck and start quitting.

2)Guilds who own the relics at the start will lose them and they will self destruct , blaming eachover that they now suck and start quittin.

3) Large alliances will be formed and the game becomes about who has the largest zerg, the smaller alliances start blaming eachover that they now suck and start quitting.

4) A guilds reign of terror only lasts 6 weeks to 10 weeks , they then post there bored and there quitting (see 5).

5) After 6-10 weeks the largest guilds get caught up in levels and start die'ing a lot and they start posting on boards there bored and there quitting , because they cant handle the fact that the tables have been turned and there not uber anymore(see 6).

6) the people who quit where never uber they just out levelled everyone else.

7) Realms without relics will start raids on there home servers cos everyone is on the pvp server.

8) Enchanters will own pvp at the start , then the game will drift to skalds and assasins later on.

9) You will learn new swear words.

10) Everyone acts like there 12 when they get killed.

There ya have it , me ill play till im bored then just randomly kill anything that moves , or join a guild and get my jollys that way .

For sure fun is what its all about.But some people get frustrated on the pvp servers, its great to see , and even more fun when they start sending you tells about your mum dad and donkeys .

I can be assed with the XP treadmill.

That and the fact that its still hard to get on the server at primetime...

Ill prolly just make a lvl 10 assasin and have a go when things quieten down in a month or so....

still dont understand where the energy comes from, for all these people who have been on the server 24X7 since it started....

If you wanna top those RP rankings you have to dedicate your life to DAOC and one server. There are better things to do in life, moderation is the key....

While it is quite true that a hell of a lot of people that do eventually make it to 50 will just quit in a month or 2 anyway, the point is that they'll have had more fun getting to 50 on PvP than they would have had cruising emain for the same length of time.
That's the point, it's also the only point.

i think there should be a server where you can go ne where you want and you can only fight in the rvr realms no where else that would leave wide vareitys of places to go and you wouldn't get ganked everywhere you go!

Untill everyone hits 50, PvP is about being higher level than everyone else. The people who will be higher level is the people who invest lots of times into this, aka powergamers.

If you are not a powergamer, you will get ganked by the powergamers when you run around popular zones. So you actualy have to either join up with a powergamer guild or go find some remote place where you can xp in peace. If you choose the latter, why then join PvP at all?

So be a powergamer, or get powergamers to protect you. If not, dont play the server.

hello to hit bonus on purps... there is no problem whatsoever for a fg lets say L40s to own a L50 fg on pvp... well ofc you cant if your afk while fighting or just got a 5000ms between the connection of your eyes/brain..

Yeah because you _have_ to stay in the one area! If you want to go make xp quietly some day you're banned from everywhere else!
