1) Follow the instructions of the "raid" leader, to the letter.

2) If told to get on a boat to xxx, get on a boat to xxx, not a boat to yyy

3) If told to meet at a loc, meet at a loc and stay there, dont run off rambo style.

4) Make sure everyone in your group is also in the BG, nothing worse than having to relay info to people who just say, "whats going on" "what are we doing" etc

5) Say if there is inc, direction, numbers and realm, preferably stealthers should be scouting around, before and during the attack on the keep.

6) Listen to the raid leader or leaders, things get said in the BG several times but nobody seems to do anything about it.

7) If a question is asked in the BG about, who has siege equipment, say so, type and quantity.

8) Move together if you are a keep taking force, dont run off and try and do your own thing, you will most likely die.

9) If you dont have anything constructive to say dont say anything.

10) once at the keeps, foppers fop, in good places, one near a corner of the tower, 1 behind the sige equipment with the support classes and one infront for the mages. Also rez the dead asap, even if they arent in your group.

If we are to have any hope of competing in NF we need to learn to listen to those who are willing to lead and make decissions. If people listen and react quickly things will go a lot smoother, people will have more fun and there wont be the long drawn out moments of waiting around at keeps. At the end of the day enjoy yourself.

12) learn how to build and use siege - it's really not rocket-science

Sorry for intruding on your realm thread but i gotta say

:worthy:  :worthy:

Damn fine bit of info m8. If peeps actually read and digest that 1-10 (and other bits) they should do fine.

Just wish they would though, everyone like to listen..them add their own version of what should happen. A good BG leader will know what he is doing, and everyone else should respect that.

13). Dont scream for rez, healers know that dead people would like a rez, Its pathetic and makes you look like something thats entered thridanki for the first time ever.

A few tips for raid leaders too...

1). Keep the zerg moving, bored people log, speed is VERY important to keep the enemy off your back and stay one step ahead.

2). Keep telling everyone your next objective so they dont have to ask all the time 'what tower are we going for now' , 'where do we meet' etc...

3). Organise rams and wood yourself, dont expect/rely on other people to do it.

4). Claiming... This imho is one of the things we really do badly at the moment, made worse by the fact we have few guilds that can claim. We really need to sort out what guild is going to claim, and whos going to help him claim BEFORE the tower doors are down.

This is so important. I can't believe the number of Raids i've been on recently and i'm the only person in a 50+ BG with a Seige Weapon.

Even casters (with a Str buff) can carry the diminutive seige weapons. Everyone should have atleast one type of Seige weapon. We need 3 Seige Rams per Tower to make one War Ram. The Field Balista hits an Oil Pot for 300+ and does some minor aoe dmg for around 150 or so. It's the fastest way (archers are also good) to take out the Oil Pot.

something i noticed aswell...

If a raidleader say go point A i see allways ppl who tell something like: What? why A we beter go B, with then some replys: O yes lets go B then some part of the bg move A where they shood and a half bg of dombos moved B.

imo: Dont say something different than the bg leader to avoid confusion, beter pm the guy if you realy feel he do something v wrong (dont spamm him ofc and dont count on reply, he seen you pm even if he didnt answer)
