Thats deffonately one of the more important changes.

With that combined with the lose of the debuff interupt, the interupt factor has gone down from 4 interrupts in 8 seconds to 1. So quite a big change.

I am hoping that given these changes I will be able to control the sub pets or at least see what the fucks happening to them, given these changes.

Given that BD pets now become the life blood of the BD. Then a simple mez/root will now drop them out of the fight, and sorc worth there salt will know that. Then they are a caster with bugger all range and an underpowered specline nuke.

Also hope for the Theurgs to have their pet spaming range reduced as well.

If I was looking at this from a give and take situation, I am feeling a wee bit short changed atm. I am sure the other realms will be happy. But its quite abit of a change for an old man to take this late stage.

Strangley enough I can will happily see have this one stay on the back burner for a while.

This is taken from VN board. SM TL talking about the changes.

The focus damage shield should be useable on charmed pets. So PvE will be pretty uber now... charm a newly added level 50 salamander, buff it to level 70 with ML9 in a pve zone, cast a level 40 focus shield on it, and I think just about any ToA encounter that doesn't require special tricks should be soloable. So 34 dark 40 summon will be the new PvE spec.
