A warning for minstrels,
Level 53/54 salamanders are no longer charmable ('this monster cannot be charmed' message). Whether this has been intentionally introduced is not clear yet, but be assured it has been appealed and more info will hopefully be incoming. That said it may pay to do any salamander farming you had planned sooner rather than later...

I am not sure yet whether this also affects mentalists.

OK, logging out and in seems to fix it. So either its been hotfixed or just was a temporary bug after the forced respec. Sorry for any unnecessary alarm

Nope, you charmed one of the new level 50 sallys that are in with the old ones. The old sallys are still listed as non charmable mobs.

The new ones are there for SMs to play with, so get ya own!

It certainly was the level 53/54 ones, unless level 50 mobs con orange now Relogging fixes the issue, but it seems like quite a few people are having it.

EDIT: Latest grab bag fills in the blanks on this... Guess a few flags were set wrong. Glad its back to normal now.

yes, they have added lvl 50 versions (on US patch 1.87) so that sorcs and now SMs can charm them.
