NEW THINGS AND BUG FIXES

Bounty Quest Changes

Many players who attempt bounty quests often feel that these quests offer little reward for the time and effort involved in getting the bounty item drop and finding the appropriate NPC to give the item to. We have made the following changes to the bounty quest system in order to make these quests a more rewarding experience for players.

- The experience reward for each bounty item turn in has been increased. Additionally, the experience reward will scale appropriately to the player's current level. Note that this change means that each bounty quest can only be completed for a certain range of levels.

- All bounty items now have delve information. The delve information includes the NPC name and location for the turn in, as well as the minimum and maximum level of the bounty quest.

- Players can now turn in a maximum of 20 bounty items for a bounty quest. Previously, players could only turn in a maximum of 15.

CLASS CHANGES AND FIXES

General Changes

- In order to reward Druids, Healers, and Clerics who spec in their healing lines, we’ve lowered the casting time on the Greater Healing line of spells. These heals should now provide the highest HP per second return, making them very useful in situations where a major heal wouldn’t heal enough in time. The spell lines changed were Greater Apotheosis (Druid), Greater Emendation (Healer), and Greater Refocillation (Cleric).

- In order to make group heals more desirable to cast when 5 or more people in a group take damage, we’ve lowered the casting time on both the specline and baseline group heals. The spells affected are Heaven’s Approbation (Cleric), Angelic Approbation (Cleric and Friar), Reviving Conflux (Druids), Group Apotheosis (Druid, Warden, and Bard). Tribute of Battle (Healer), and Group Emendation (Healer and Shaman).

- We have changed how the immunity timers on combat styles work - they have been changed so that the immunity timer will now be exactly five times the length of the stun, rather than the standard one minute duration. For instance, if a combat style's stun has a 5 second duration, it will trigger a 25 second immunity timer, instead of triggering the standard one minute timer as before.

- We have changed how the immunity timers on pet stuns work for pet classes. The immunity timer will be five times the length of the stun. For example, a pet with a one second stun will now grant a 5 second immunity. The pets affected by this change are the Cabalist Amber Simulacrum, Spiritmaster's Summon Spirit Thrall line, and the Druid's Summon Nature Spirit line.

Enchanter

- (Bug Fix) The Enchanter's Dazzling Strobe line of instant debuffs will no longer interrupt casters.

Hunter

- Changed Gungin's Fury in the Hunter's spear line to chain off of Return Thrust and increased the damage of the bleed effect.

Reaver

- We've changed the way Reaver debuff point-blank area of effect pulsing spells work. These debuff spells will no longer cause interruptions on the targets they hit. The spells affected are Aura of the Inevitable and Aching Curse.

SHROUDED ISLES WORLD NOTES

Hibernia

- Fixed an issue that could prevent Animist turrets from being summoned near the inner rings of Fomor.

TRIALS OF ATLANTIS WORLD NOTES

Stygia Encounters

- Trial 4.2 - Battlegrouped players who are in the outer camps and forts will now receive credit for this encounter when Seti the Pharoah has been killed.

Volcanus Encounters

- Trial 6.5 - Grouped players will now receive credit when completing this encounter. Please note that *only one player from the group* must pick up each of the four pieces required to make the Salamander Incinerator, as these items cannot be traded.

- Trial 6.5 - Necromancers can now use the Salamander Incinerator while in shadeform.

Sobekite Eternal

- Trial 2.10 - Battlegrouped players who are standing outside of the temple area or are being carried by the harpies will now be able to receive credit for this encounter when Runihura is killed.

Artifact Notes

- The Light Stone and the Dark Stone summoned by the Eerie Darkness Stone now have persistent regeneration bonuses instead of persistant regeneration spells. The amount of power and health gained per tick has not been changed.

- The persistent power and health regeneration spells on Erinys Charm have been changed to function as bonuses instead of spells. The amount of power and health gained per tick has not been changed.

FOUNDATIONS NOTES

- The boundary walls separating the zones in each realm's housing area have been removed. This change will allow easier direct access to connecting housing zones.

Hurray for Healing changes, finally it'll be rewarding to actually play your Healers and not just rely on inbred button mashers. :D

About fucking time, too. One of the worst-designed encounters I've ever seen. The removal of housing zonewalls is a good thing, too.

Hunter

- Changed Gungin's Fury in the Hunter's spear line to chain off of Return Thrust and increased the damage of the bleed effect.

Oh woopeeee do! The level 50 Hunter Spear style now chains off an evade style; a hunter has evade 2.... He doesn't evade.... and this level 50 style is bleed... oh dear it has the same affect as what it chains off (Return Thrust).

Aaaannnnd "Extend Reach" also chains off Return Thrust... ooooo a hunter evades once in a hundred hits and now he has two styles to pick from.

Why not chain off evade and give a 5 sec stun? Why not give a Hunter an any style that doesn't have -bonus to defence... pah I spit in their faces...

Sometime I do wonder about Mythic and if they actually read any TL reports or have actually played any non Alb classes...

Not that many hunters have 50 spear anyways.... waste of time....

Some nice overall changes, interesting to see Air Theurgists aren't affected by the stun immunity changes altho they are a pet class too (maybe a "true" pet class instead of the cabby/enchanter/sm who don't need to rely on their pets to be kinda effective). But I guess an Air Theurgist would be completely gimped if they had stun immunity timers on the pet, cause the pet lasts 20 seconds and if 1 stun gets off, the target will have an immunity of 3x5 seconds = 15 seconds..So would be waste of time to cast those pets.

Also good to see they fixed the enchanter insta combat speed interrupt. And bloody hell good thing that those zone walls have been removed from housing zone...They were soooo annoying!

but who am I to talk about these changes, I ain't ever gonna return to this game anyway ;)

Guess it's to prevent giving people 1 minute immunity by people who use 2-3 sec lasting gimp stun styles...

Wtf, even harder to use the lvl50 style, retarded mythic, and a bleed... whats with that? I have always wondered what are bleed good for?
Now give infils Dex/quick debuff poison and the humiliation is total or why not a insta debuff on minstrel?
Why not just make it trigger of parry or block while they are at it... Hunters have evade 2 and landing a second in line evade style without dodger, yeah right.
Im pretty sure they make this change for mids new catacomb class that can use spears and probably have evade 5 or something, who cares about hunters... spit on me.

Looks like a very promising patch. I hope they keep up the good work with the ML encounters, still many steps that need to be easier, or just faster to do.

Sorted grapple immunity abuse to.

Raised the positive buff cap to 50

with the fine words:

raised buff cap to 50 to make savages be able to use all selfbuffs under any circumstances

AKA grapple immune gone :flame:

Looking good. Houseface will finally work properly, 2.10 won't be anywhere near as annoying. Finally chanter DPS nerfed in line with what happened to healers a long time ago.

The changes to ML 6.5 are really welcome too. I wonder though if they fixed the bug where if your backpack was nearly full and it filled up while running around the pedastals instead of being told that your pack was full (so you could shed something) you get told "that item is too far away to pick up" which has to be for me one of the most frustrating bugs I think I've ever come across considering you are on a very short timer for the pedastal phase of the encounter.

ML 4.2 changes - YAY! :D

The healing changes are nice. I've always kept a full qbar or so of pretty much just different heals (first on Druid, then Cleric - my Healer was never a healing type) so this will really benefit me. (Pondered effects on mob agro but you just heal less often for greater heal per cast).

Not overly bothered about stun nerf - I use different pets for different things even in RvR. I think it will more affect the people running the Indy 500, also known as Emain.

Overall lots of good things that have been annoying people for a very long time :)

yeh bad to have a pulsing ae ability that can interupt.
Its enuff as it is with interupt able classes. imo this is the least that should have been done.

Savages got their "taunt shout" made a "taunt spell" instead with a loooong cast time. just because it was commonly used to interupt casters.
