The last line, that they had a whole list of bugs/working as intended... I hope that list includes that paladins cant protect necro pet, even tho necro pets r considered grp m8s regarding ablatives and theurg bubble.

That would be a good way to get a Necro to Lvl 50 actually. Have a Paladin guard and protect pet. Especially at < Lvl 45 it would never get interupted, so you could pull constantly :)

I really do hope they sort out a lot of the issues.

For me, the biggest one is that the highest Death Sight Power Tap is only Lvl 44! Give either a Lvl 48 or Lvl 50 one IMHO, with at least a quarter more damage, and obviously a lot less chance of being resisted.

They also need to fix Purge - it's absolutely crazy at the moment.

Would make us more effective in RvR.

Check out new NF RAs. For 4 points I think it was, you could take those spells upto lvl 50 for resist purposes. They don't go above lvl 50 though :p

Don't necros get a self demezz in 1.69 with no recast timer? I could be wrong here though.

I'm probably just being greedy, but I don't think having your main spell cap out at Lvl 44 is ideal. I know the Sight line has a base Lifetap at Lvl 50, but I'd still prefer to have a higher level PT. I don't think a Lvl 48 spell is unrealistic IMHO...

A pally would slow things down, I think at the time my Necro hit 50 several weeks after SI I was full DS, I have a lvl44 Cleric, I chain pulled Oranges, XP was insane, infact it was so good I actually put my Cleric in the group for XP :)

She dinged not long after the necro, no idea if its all changed now but when they were in thier original state Necros leveled best as a Necro duo or solo.

I must admit I cba to play it anymore, my other chars are more fun and less fucked up than the necro.

necro's r indeed best solo or duo(BB :D) and i only play my necro when i wanna PL a char to 40+ then go AC to learn the char... and necro's r plain boring as they can only do 1 thing (as DS) PT, PT, PT, mob dead redo...

I lvled one to 50 too and cba to play mine.
In fact I hate em.
The fact that they all look exactly the same as eachother and can pull so fast in pve make them look like nothing else but auto-farming bots. I don't see necro's as a real character.

Really need to make group window targetted (or Shift Fkey) target pet rather than shade - I do group in rvr with necro and this problem makes it very difficult to demezz the pet or cast cure ns etc etc

Yes, but the self demezz is on an extremely long timer, 15 or 20 seconds (cant remember exactly). Secondly, the self demezz has only been gotten down to 5 seconds with uber buffs which in effect is all a chanter or whoever needs to kill you.
IMO the self-demezz is the start of the downhil period for necromancers (but in a way uphill). It is saying to me that mythic don't no how to make purge etc work for a necro and so they slapped on the necros head a demezz spell and then gave it to bd's etc to try and move it look unsuspcious.
As for the powertap question, a level 50 pt wud be nice but I'd settle for higher power return or damage output but i highly daut 1/4 of a 44 powertap is going to be added. On an average yellow con that means i'd be doing 100+ damage with a new powertap and although it don't sound much, over 4 powertaps, thats an extra 400 damage which coupled with the power return rate is an unstoppable rate.
Painworking is the only serious serious serious matter necromancers are facing at the moment IMO. Sure we take 25% extra damage etc but if thats been the issue since release of SI what makes u think they will change it.

some stuff brought up i been wondering about but still aint gonna make my necro come outta pve and use her as an rvr char.. like as ever.. if only it happened.. might get a chance but i very much doubt it.... fingers crossed tho :)

I've got a lvl50 necro and im playing in RvR at the moment.
I like my necro coz it's good soloer in PVE and not bad soloer in RvR depending
on target. When i get attacked by magic i just sit down release pet and /release.

If i get jump by stealther or tank, well it's another story. I can have 3+ tank on me and i'll take 1or 2 b4 i go down. And i'm not even wearing an epic armor and ok yes i'm fully buff, so i'll correct what i've said earlier - necro is a good duoer.

I love playing a necro (even if it's frustrating sometimes), because having just had a baby, i don't really wanna group and having 2 let peeps down coz baby is crying, so best chars was a necro/bb. Yes i'm limited in wat i can do, but aren't we all.

I'm not uber, I'm still learning, but that's the fun part for me at the moment.
Specially when I got the jump and panic , and end /relasing 8))

But I don't mind, kill or be killed. I still average 3kRPs a night, playing about 1.5hours.

And I will aggree, we all look the same. Shame the pet cannot wear guild colour, etc

I LOVE my necro in RvR and PvE, IMO alb badly underestimate the value of a necro in RvR, been said a few times in past threads i group alot with guildies and most of the casters and clerics love the power transfers. ( NO im not portable battery i just try to transfer power a few times during battle when i see them low on power but if i dont have line of sight to them they dont get power simple as that)
My nukes are pretty good capping life tap at 639dmg (with TOA gear) necro only lacks working spirit debuff from cabby.

About the self cure mezz, me too thought it was 15 or 20sec cast but camelotherald says its a 2.0s cast time 1.69 patch notes doesnt say anything about cast time either, i SO hope herald is correct :)

I think the thing to irritate me the most so far in RvR is the full duration mez/stun on the pet. This is just outrageous - if Mythic can have Str, Con and Dex transfer to the pet, why not resists as well?

In fact for that matter, can anyone tell me why I should even bother including resists in a Necro template? They will never get used - utter waste IMHO...
