NEW THINGS AND BUG FIXES

- We’ve slightly changed the way weapon styles work. If a character using a weapon style is attacked, his style is interrupted, and he performs a normal attack instead. All classes that use weapon styles are given a new ability called 'Perfect Style'. It gives the tank one uninterruptible style attack. This new ability is on a timer, and is usable every 30 seconds. In addition there is a new realm ability called 'Mastery of Styles' giving 15 seconds uninterruptible styles on a 30 minute timer.


Instead of fixing the insane interrupt for casters, mythic swings the nerf bat once more...

So its down to whoever gets the style in first as to who wins...


So a fully boofed and SCd infil / sb / ns with fast weapons, will go all the way due to the fact their victim cant get a style off?

Seems its turning into "Dark age of Casters and Stealthers".....:(

I can see the spam now

your style is canceled and you hit XXX for 5 damage!
You both repeat this for 10 minutes
You are too bored to continue the fight
DAoC was killed by Boredom

This i suppose will also go for PvE, therefore the days of warriors and savages farming their own cash are numbered.

As far as I can see 1.67i is the last patch on the website so I highly doubt this is a real post

but mythic will never fix the interupt system for casters tbh. after all this is Dark Age of Tankalot.

Don't be daft, we all know that tanks are highly trained warriors who wouldn't lose an ounce of the concentration required to use a 5 foot polearm to cleave precisely the correct organ in two with a single swing through layer upon layer of chain mail even if they were having a fireball rammed firmly up the jacksie at the same time.

WHERAS it's also perfectly sensible that after many years of patient study and practice, a caster, when faced with the task of waving their arms about and repeating a short poem, will likely forget what they are doing, wet their pants, and run home scared if anyone within a 600 foot radius makes a menacing gesture with a butter knife.

Honestly, you guys need to use a little logic.

Anyone else thinks this is posted by a caster whos fed with the: "one fart in your direction and your spell is interrupted"?

Heh i can't say about casters it may be true, but stealthers? lol wishfull thinking.
