NEW THINGS

- You should now get visual timers on your client when you Repair, Upgrade or Salvage.
Yay for crafting functionality boosts!


- The following command states are now saved on the server: /SETWHO, /CANCELSTYLE and /NOQUEUE. The /COLORNAMES was always saved on the client by account and character. The /SPELLEFFECTS is not saved.
/setwho trade saving! Yay! I can now always be a Level 50 Legendary Grand Master Armourcrafter :clap:


SIEGE WEAPON CHANGES

- Only 3 siege weapons can attack a door at the same time.
Eeek. This is going to hurt a lot. Relic raids will take hmm, how long to get the doors down?


- Ballistas do significantly more damage now to other siege weapons
Good to hear. How are we going to target rams from the nice and buggy LOS on the battlements, though? :rolleyes:


- Fixed a bug with printing of recipes for new siege ammo.
Er, printing of recipies for new siege ammo? Now, I try to keep up to date with the Herald, but haven't seen anything about this. Is this saying crafters can at long last craft siege ammo?

The significantly increased ballistae damage has been in the last 3-4 patchnotes at least...well, those ubar ballistae which still need LoS to shoot can really hurt those rams on the other side of that large door !

Think this could be something to do with the different damage types on the new ammo they introduced couple of patches before, ie like cold/heat damage etc, instead of the basic heat they used to be. And to be honest, is anyone going to use any siege gear apart from rams? Even with the so called new types of ammo. Can't see why they dont make things like trebuchets and ballista dismantlable, and perhaps reduce the loading time too, since 30 second loading time on a trebuchet = why bother, you got casters who can do more damage in a much shorter time.

SIEGE WARCRAFT NOTES

- Ballistas will now do triple damage against other pieces of siege equipment.

- Ballista and Catapult ammo now stack up to 20

- The non-raw wood components for catapults and ballistae now weight roughly half of what they did previously. This puts them down into the range of non-raw wood weight of the rams.

- Catapults and Ballistae will naturally degrade now half as fast as they did previously.

- The arming timer for Ballistae and Catapults has been cut in half (so 10 and 15 respectively).

Also

- A number of bugs with the /groundassist command have been fixed. The range it can be used in has also been increased to help make it more useful for siege equipment "spotters".

and

- The Ballista damage bonus has been substantially increased against enemy siege weapons.

The new ammo types as well are quite uber....grapeshot has like uber ae radius(550 perhaps?), the bullet has a small one(150ish?) but quite good damage.....
