goa are using an abstract calldender
so hence:
next week = a months time
a month = 2 months
2 months = some time in the distant future
so hence:
next week = a months time
a month = 2 months
2 months = some time in the distant future

and i think that it will actually happen. they gave a date that Gorre was gonna be opened and that went to plan so im pretty sure this is gonna be on time

goa version 1.48, instead of goa version 1.45? This could be interesting

Previously the patch server died because EVERYONE connected at once to upgrade.
This wasn't all GOA's fault - Mythic have been improving their patch server forever I believe.. so the version they had probably wasn't the most stable.
If you want to avoid lots of delays waiting to patch, either do something else on patch day (ok by the glazed look and drooling I guess that's not possible) or follow the instructions for connecting to Gorre, and get a backup patched in advance.
(requires an extra load of hard disk space - the same amount as your current install remarkably enough)
