1.33 update fails??

Ive just tried to patch my RTCW but the upgrade says that it "could not locate a version of RTCW on this computer" .. PAH!

Its there, runs fine, why cant the update find it? I have it located in \games rather than \program files, but that shouldnt be a prob - all the register settings pointing to the right place.

Any clues, people? or Suggestions??

Well, on the face of it i'd suggest you've downloaded the 1.33 lite version to update from the original, or something similar. Not sure. What version were you updating from?

... I d/loaded the 10mb thing from 3dgamers cos I coudlnt get to the BW ftp , and the game is the original retail version.

Ill try reinstalling and updating...

You need the bigger version. I believe it's around 20megs, which will update you from any version.
