1.27g team_model bug?

Is anybody else having this problem? My autoexec.cfg looks like this;

set model "visor/blue"
set headmodel "bitterman/blue"
set team_model "visor"
set team_headmodel "bitterman"

Fire up 1.27g, ffa and tourney modes are fine. Visor's body, bitterman's head. But go into tdm or ctf and everybody is sarge. I've tried everything, I've read the readme 101 times, tried changing the model in game from the console, vid_restarts, popping the scoreboard up to refresh the models... no change. Everybody still looks like sarge.

Am I missing something here or is this a bug?

Further investigation reveals team_model and team_headmodel work fine, _if_ you turn off cg_forcemodel. Seems id have managed to dig up the old bug with cg_forcemodel that was in the release version of Q3 - if you turn force models on it forces everybody to sarge. Non-team game modes are fine, but in tdm and ctf if you force models everybody is sarge.

Ho-hum well done id.

Should we all wait for 1.31k then? or whatever they wanna call it? Seems like 1.27g is too buggy to be released in the first place.....D`OH
