1.1 farming group

Wanna make one of these groups too farm for an Immolated Ring on Wednesday, 'cos poor Waok doesnt have one yet and evil people on FH won't sell him one! We will farm a couple and lotto them, and I will by fate roll a low number on each thus not getting a ring out of it! Or if you need 1.1 credit, I get you credit and I get all the rings.

can be done with a ml9 sorc +bot, doesnt even need pow font on bot, altho it helps a bit. Use a gorgon maiden and /afk while it eats the mobs alive

Don't mean to spoil your fun, but a couple of my guildies have farmed the encounter 70+ times and the number of ring dropped sofar is 1 :-(

Not trying to say you shouldn't do this, just telling you not to expect a ring to drop at first try.

P.S. I saw an ice wizzard + pally duo this encounter, I think they can do it pretty fast.

Fastest I've managed to do this encounter is using;

Mincer+Sally + BB
Cleric
Earth/Ice Theurg
Ice-Wizz

Sunkaio

Set pet on Sunk.
Let Ice-Wizz PBAOE to death

Zop

Let Cleric stun purros
Let Theurg nuke to death

Aithos

Theurg EB+Haste on Sally
Send Sally in to melee Aithos
Run Mincer away from group (to avoid AOE interrupts from fireballs)
Theurg spams ice-pets on Aithos
Ice-Wizz PBAOEs until mob is dead

We time this 2 minutes 50 seconds per run (that's from talking to the NPC to talking to him again, so including the 1minute wait for the damn thing to spawn!)

As mentioned above, farmed this 20+ times per hour for several hours and we still need plenty of Immolated Rings (think we've got 1 or 2 so far). You do get some other nice drops (Blackened Wrap, Cloak of the Firestore, Immolated Bow) and about 100-200g per run of salvage. It's still a pain in the arse though.

Theurg spams ice-pets on Aithos

dont know if they fixed this in the Nf patch, but pre Nf then u couldnt spam pets, cos max 8 chars inside the ring or the guards would come.

The second the theurg spawns a pet over the 8 char limit then theguards would interfeer and kill anything-

Can be very easily done with mincer+salamy, fop bot, icewizz. And 2 peeps get everything.

and also for the Purros:
Ice wiz cast ae cold nuke and pbae as follow up.
Purros gets hit, purros fly to wiz, wiz casting pbae, purros into pbae , purros death/heavy dmg'd
= 3sec to kill statue
