0 rps Necro kills

Anyone heard anything about Mythic fixing the fact that people leech when you kill necro pet and someone outside group kills the necro.

Great you made yourself a few moments downtime to feel bad because you didn't get anything but less hit and end. And someone else took the "free" rp.

No, all the time actually..
I did that once myself. One sb were taking on the pet, and my group of three came running, pet was down, sb was far from the inconnu, i killed it, got a PM later, stating the fact that if I did that another time, I would get hunted down and killed IRL..

I just turned and /laugh at him, knowing that if I SS'ed him, I could get him banned from the game.

Sure, what I did was lame, but I didn't see the pet was down, I just saw this inconnu on low HP..

But it's a known fact that you don't get any RP's for killing the pet, even if the caster is low on HP afterwards.. sad indeed.

Still unfixed but its on the TL's list. I once had 6 mids stuck to my shade trying to hit me it as soon as the pet died with a warrior and zerker on my pet. pwnd the zerker before the other mids turned round, killed the pet and looked around to see me get ganked by a nearby SB outside group but not before I used a charge from my staff on the warrior killing him

i did that once with my NS in bg1, used the insta on the poor iconnu

This happens all the time on Camlann me and a few friends struggled to take down a purple necro, then a grey con kills him!

I had a similar experience with a Bonedancer. Must have used something like 20 arrows to kill his commander and then a 10min chase only for the Bonedancer himself to be killed by a leeching Scout and no realm points for myself.

Even more annoying when you get the timing wrong and the mob the pet was tanking ( best scenario to get pet lined up for PA, thank Mythic's bad pathing code for not attacking them when on the move ) gets a single hit in on the necro. No RP for me and a xp-death for the necro

Just try and exp kill them, saves arguments over who gets the RP's

Would also be nice to duel some1 at df stairs let him kill the pet run away and be kileld by some sb, free rps for thy alts!

I did it once with my hunter.
Was in a big fight and I was using Rapid fire and <Ctrl>(nearest target) when the one I was shoting died. The next target I got was a necro and I had no chance of canceling my shot.
The RPs was nice but kinda sucky for those killikg the pet.
Happend to me about 5 times :/

Doubt it ever gets "fixed". Means they'd have to give necro's different pet-code and there's more pressing issues in the game than some random person not getting RPs once in a blue moon.
