Just now we've reboot Excalibur to get rid of some minor bugs (mainly chatchannels not working properly)

It will be back up momentarily.

Xalin is this a bug or is this a problem with the daoc database. We have had a couple of the same event-chains now.

- Chatchannel bug
- Reboot server
- Guildrps gone

Could you shed some light on this ?

I thought you patched up the problem of the chat channels not working properly?

So you have to reboot the server to clear a database entry or two?

I think Requiel can explain this better but as far as I know it's like this: The database tool that handles chatchannels (and grouping and guilds etc) is a program called xmanager. And that sometimes plays up resulting in the chain you described.

It's a lot more stable now then it was and we're still poking Mythic every now and then to keep working on it.

just tried loggin in now , and it says autharisation server is not working :O

waaah what gone wrong, says excal is up on the server page

they give them all to HG - how else do you think we gain RP? it's not from killing people in RvR that's for sure...
