Would like some sensible suggestions on how to spend my final 2 weeks of Freedom, taking into consideration My fiance will be out of the country from Tuesday, until we marry on the 18th of June.

I am bored at work so give something interesting to read.

I'll save you future embaressment for the next 2 weeks. Fiance is the male half, fiancee is the female. I discovered this after giving my other half a valentines card with the former on it. Only then did the odd looks the card shop staff gave me make any sense.

Kill yourself quickly.

Else you'll be doing it slowly for the rest of your life, starting with your hair. :D

You should probably learn to dance if you are unable to, as you don't want to humiliate yourself at the wedding. :) Get some cool vows, buy presents for your loved one, and make sure your plans are all set!

SHIT! Forgot about the brides pressie, thanks mate.

But Vows? I'm going with a set list, menu item, house special I reckon. Left to her I'd be vowing to stop playing computer games or downloading porn or something :p

In two weeks you could be nicely stowed away on a slow boat to China.

People have been giving me grief for years about "Youll be next, youll change your mind", but 6 years Ive been living with the Mrs Weasel both of us are still resolute that there is no point in marrage for us. We arent religeous and dont want kinds. Perfect tbh. :D

Anyway, if getting married is for you, then congrats!

Marriage is cheaper than a will, if the mortgage isn't in joint names. ;)

2-week-long wank tbh :D

And eat curry with extra onion and Shin Cup drink Special Brew and wear trackie bottoms while you're at it. Won't be able to do that no more :)

For starters I wouldn't take advice form anyone with a 2k+ post count, they never get out and the likelyhood of them ever communicating with a bird in real life is zero 2 one. :D

Me personally I would have booked these two weeks off of work, got shit faced with my mates and documented these last two weeks with a video camera, like a video diary of your last free moments. Depends what floats your boat really ;)

Congratulations and best of luck anyway.........

Good start

If all doesn't go smoothly this should give you a few tips to cover your tracks.

Seriously.

Formalities rarely change what's real.

Do what you always do.... Dream about not getting married

The Herald sometimes has an interesting section about some Urban Renewal Project in the Outer West , turning Cruddas Park shops into 'a more appealing place to buy crack and have your tyres slashed', or 'how to really slow traffic down on the West Road near the shops with a wider bus lane and more bollards oh and lets not extend the safety zone quite as far as the school'
Alternatively, drink beer, go to Julies and the Boat, see what you will be missing and be glad, because most of it is shite :)
Disclaimer, the free paper is a font of really useful information, like stuff about things that are informative to people who read the free paper and are interested in susch stuff. Julies is a night club with limited appeal, mostly in the form of short skirts and boob tubes, as is the boat but it does have a revolving dance floor and a starboard list which can be quite challenging when your pished.

Enjoy married life, it is possible, sometimes for quite long periods, except this year when I have to shell out loads of cash for an eternity ring. I keep telling her 10 years is not an eternity it just feels like it, but no a ring must be bought.

I won't say enjoy your last two weeks of freedom because they are not, your freedom carries on.

Have a very good wedding, a better honeymoon and a brilliant life together.

Later

use the 2 weeks to clear and area in the roof space for the inevitable influx of toasters and dinner plates you'll get!
