u really wanna get those resist up a bit more - especially Matter - warlocks will tear u apart with 17% (7% with resist pierce)

Imo loose the 2 items with +3 light and put the util towards getting those resists better.

as soon as a warlock targets a caster they are as good as dead with or without matter resists

think long term - 5-6 months they will do 30% less dmg and that is surviable - but up to you.

17 Matter will deffo be enough when warlocks get nerfed, with good druids you will get healed asap. I'd much rather get nuked for an extra 100 damage than loose vital stats while maxxing Matter :)

this is lucial template..its for people who cant have jacinas r these sleeves cause its to hard for them to get.386 dex buffed and 10% toa speed caps the castin speed of all spells...or ppl can put more dex in template and decrease the toa speed..according to calculators i ve seen through net..mentaslism is low and affects the mezz but in good rvr group u dont bother to mezz.when solo spamming mezz worked though.also cloudsong charge and traltors do stack.386 dex with aug dex 4 tho.

it makes a difference if you have 386 or 400+. we tested it.
you're template is ok too, lacking some +pow, range, that dex, hp's and damage. get dex and damage up atleast :twak:

I personally would be VERY concerned taking +100dmg per nuke, with 7% matter resist you will be nuked for near cap each time, from my pov ive always looked to my defence before offence, imo good resist > +stats and dmg on a template. Your +stats and dmg can be increased over time with RA's where as your resists cant.

Not to mention i dont know ANY healer with reaction times fast enough to heal insta 700+300+700 nukes, tbh even DI has failed - although this is possibly a bug.

with capped matter those nukes will be down to 500+200+500 which is surviable and thats pre nerf.

anyway good luck, i think your minds already been made up on this matter (no pun intended) :)

yes to be honest i had another template before that with tartaros less hps and with aug dex had 396 dex..saw some slight difference but some people said its just a thought that i am casting faster..then i saw the calculators and according to these made this one.about the range cloudsong charge helps i think.and i would go for cap range on void eld not this class..about power in rvr didnt have problem with power.i know this template is not perfect and can be improved. i still remember trying to get zorkat bracer to cap range for example..how can be done when u need zerg to do it.u need guild with many peopleto do arti raids so everyne takes what needs for the template.or organize ml raids with the /random 1000..hard isnt it?

Dunno if you by damage mean pierce, but imo you will also be better off getting tart. MCL2 charge is so nice.

Mylhia, those kind of templates are all around. just like the last one that i posted, before this thread. nice template though, i just did a template with sash by request. and puigeto, well done, but i agree with vf here, i like the +11 skill :)

no, i meant magic damage. i also recommend using tartaros instead of traldors, it has mcl2 (rp2) charge and it has +5% damage bonus. piercing is another thing :)

And what if the warlock is being assisted by a BD or something? The BD only needs to spam insta life tap once to finish me off. If you have higher resists you get hit for ~150 or so less, depends on luck I guess. 150 more hp doesn't help a caster at all, one more hit and your dead:)

tbh your bringing more situational possibilities into this Yes, if a warlock is "assisted" then you will die no matter what. In that case why go rvr at all? My point is that you should try to make a template which gives you the best defence against ALL attack forms.

My opinion still stands that a template should cap ALL resists before looking to offence. I agree that 150HP on a caster wont make much difference but it COULD make all the difference. Also you define the 150HP varience between good resist as bad as a one off occurance, that "saving" would be for every cast/hit that lands so the saving in dmg taken can be multiplied.

Ive been in many sitations where i was nuked down to 1-2% hp and then was able to continue casting and finally won the engagement. If my resist weren't maxed I would have died and the fight lost.

Good luck :) Templates are always a bone of contention :)

this isn't that simple you know. imagine if the one who was nuking you would've had that 1-2% more offence instead of resists and hitpoints... everyone should pretty much build the template around what they like the most and what suits your playstyle. i personally prefer offence over defence. but hey, that's just me - i'm not saying that offence is any better than defence or likewise! :m00:

I quite agree - as i said this is my opinion - u will build your template how you like in accordance with your opinion.

Ofc if your relativly low rr you will not have the Rp's to spend on the DMG increasing RA's so you may want to spec higher in dmg in the template.

TBH ive never seen what i would class as a "perfect" toa template , with the introduction of arti's and their low util it has always been a point of trading one thing for another.

Anyway gl with it, hopefully you will get the chance to prove yourself upon me nice and soon :)
