After going to Xyli's daoc prydwen meet, I thought how fun it would be to organise something very similar for excalibur. At the moment I am looking to book the Main Room at the pub listed below (which has great beer and an old albion style decor) which holds 100+ people. Obviously if it seems a lot more will come, I'll change the plans a bit, or maybe book the basement too (an extra 80 people).
The date is not set in stone, I just merely picked a date that's after my exams(and others' exams!) and is suitably far away for people to arrange travel and places to stay.
When: Saturday, May 28th 2005

For those coming from outside UK:
Fly to London Stansted(variable cost), then arrange a Coach (www.nationalexpress.com) to take you from Stansted(edge of london) to Victoria(centre of london). This costs £15 for a return ticket. The alternative to the Coach is the Stansted Express train, which takes half the time but which is more expensive (not sure how much).
Once in centre, buy a Day Travelcard (£4.50)from tube station, or Bus Pass (£2.40) from news seller, this allows travel for the whole day on either tube+bus, or just bus, in Zones 1+2 in London (for zones, see any tube map).
