Just want to say that i got " stolen " on my account today and i phoned goa about the issue and they told me to sen the CD-keys and stuff so i did. was told shortly after that my acount was " traded " and they can't do anythinga bout it , tho it wasen't so that's my luck .......

Just want to say Good bye to everyone in The Gathering and /as aswell...

Bad news Tyro. More details? Were characters deleted/overwritten? Or did you just lose items/cash?

If it's just items/cash, I'm sure there's plenty of us who can help you replace everything...

no im sorry to hear bout that, i personally would look in more detail as like others have said it sounds very fishy, how would they tell it had been "traded" from the CD key?

as for GoA asking for the cd keys they have done that to me in the past when i had problems differance being i have never changed the email addys and postal address on my subscription page so my problems got sorted

Brnie the cd key is tied to that account and if the email addy and postal address has changed a few times on that account/cd-key i guess they think its been traded

Im really sorry to hear that, and I that was looking forward to
playing with you and your new sorc

Dont give up on this, how could the person who stole your account change
the email adress?

From what Ive heard a mail is sent to the old email adress before you
are allowed to change to the new email adress.

In my eyes that means there are two possibilities.

1 The one who stole your acc. has access to your mail.

2 If you still have the account tied to your email you should be able to
request a new password.

Hope you get this sorted, do you know who controls your acc. atm?

Not true.

An email has still to be sent to the old account. And im assuming if you cant get to your old account you phone mythic and they do the same thing and ask for the CD key (meaning you still have to have the origional DAoC you bought) so they can varify.

So either this person has the email access. Or has the CD-key access too

camped Gem of Lost Memorise the whole evening. Saw Trycs and Tryosbuffi at the artifact spawn island.
