Wiliam Vs Dwera

Sorry to re-open this but just logged on and seen the tread.

A couple of points in this story should be known.Firstly i was in a dou with Wiliam when this emoting happen, we killed Dwera a couple of times after she ran the lenght of emain as soon as wiliam hit her.

Then i recieved a PM from A high Ranking Reaver saying Dwera has asked this reaver to pm me to tell me to stop killing her ( cross realming ??? ).

We were Zerging in her eyes ??? when has a dou become a Zerg ?

Therefore after this pm which we ignored ,We Then killed dwera again and wiliam decided to emote her for cross realming bitching and he recieves a ban.

Question, who is in the wrong Cross Realming Dwera ? or emoting Wiliam ?

so outnumbering your opponent with double the ammount they are isnt zerging? ^^
And if people using irc to talk to others are crossrealming then i guess 50%ish of the entire daoc community are crossrealmers.

nono, grimlin, goa should simply ban a large portion of their community for sitting on irc, it's after all crossrealming, talking to the opposite realms

crossrealming would actually have to imply that you yourself are logging on to 2 different realms within a very short period of time to even be possible to consider an offense, especially since clustering. forbidding people to talk to eachother is rather.. impossible, since goa or mythic don't control crapall outside of the actual game. sure, they could slap you on the fingers for having communicated with a different realm, but seriously, it's not gonna happen, they'd lose a rather large part of their already heavily declining playerbase, if you look at all servers, both us and eu. not worth it.

and yeh, emote-spamming's still considered an offense, and if reported, whoever did it might end up getting slapped, that's the risk you take.

If a duo who's killing a solo player are zerging, then god damn there's many zergers in this game, even those who say they never zerg intentionally.

I can see how three stealthers together is a stealth zerg though, but I don't think I'd call a duo for a zerg.

Probably the official call on this would be something like:

Communicating with an enemy realm to influence current happenings in game.

So in some ways, Dwera messaging someone to get them to stop attacking him could count as cross realming. But who knows.

Never really been a fan of IRC, just pop on now and again to have a laugh at the whining that goes on. Then see how long before someone goes crying and bans me for simply telling them the truth

let's get dwera banned for crossrealming, would be lovely to see xDDDDD

asking someone from another realm to pass on a message= crossrealming = 3 days ban

If a duo is constantly adding on other fights I'd call em zergers... which is why Jax and William r just that.

1/ i dont wouldnt blame dwera for reporting for 20 emotes if she haddent started the whole thing by having cross realm pm's multiple emotes on every ocasion etc etc. which most players would probably ignore and laugh at or in wiliams case just do the same in harmless fun. some of you do realise this is a game yes?

2/ even now after the RN which lead to a three day ban i still wouldnt submit the evidence to try a tit for tat ban that would just be silly, as is the whole 112 response thread is that lead to jax trying to tell it as it was.

3/ as for the ban! who cares its not the real world i watched the footie (ouch) went on beer with jax and its nearly over no big deal, and btw dwera i made that emote macro just for you on that night i guesss you dont like it then ehh? maybe you now know how it feels?

4/ as for the ppl in the other threads who use words like *anker and *wat (coldbeard shike) well what can i say you ADD your crappy opinion to threads better than any scout ADDS in rvr lol... only scouts dont add they assist ppl(hmm duno if they will buy that one lol) if its red we all have the same rights in trying to make it dead! and no one disbands 7 ppl from a fg if they find a solo or stealther to make a fair fight of it!

5/and as for chasing you grivnekelmorion if you stop running i would'nt have to chase you now would i? (bloody hell im supposed to run i am the scout u know)

6/ and blazor when my ban is up im going to kill that kitten you saved! lol

= incredibly sad if you report someone for that. And theres no real way of proving it

and now for trying to tell the rest of the story i have recieved a FH warning from tears. i didnt think trying to tell the truth was such a crime 20% already ive only made 1 post and 20 emotes this communication stuff seems costly lol

truth is, i did ask a friend of mine on albion to pm wiliam and ask why the two of you constantly insist on adding on me, zerging me over, what ever.

now, last definition of crossrealming i heard was above said "Communicating with an enemy realm to influence current happenings in game."

Isnt so that I can sit on a ventrilo server with an alb and a hib.. talking about anything but the game.. does it still make it crossrealming when we are playing the same server, yet not exchanging any information about the game?

When a thread is closed, its closed for a reason - its not an excuse to spam a new one just to get the final word.

If people spam emotes - report them if it floats your boat
If people pass messages over IRC/IM - report them if you want
