what online FPS games do you own? This poll will help us determine what games the majority of Freddies own and thus the games we will try to arrange for the US vs. THEM tourney.

[highlight]please note that people who have not let me know they will be playing on Gamesday by posting their name and team preference in the UvT thread will be subtracted from the tally!!![/highlight]

Please be aware that because polls only allow 10 options I've had to cull some games. I'm sorry about this.

Halo 2 isn't out on the PC yet, either. :) There's also a lack of the original CoD.

I've voted CS:S and Halo. If others are way ahead, I'll buy 'em.

Everyone can have it for game day for no money, and the lack of experience on most parts means teamwork will have to be uber.

Plus it'd be a fucking hoot! :D

yes! now I know for sure! Babs, do you know of an ET server out there that we can play on? Sockstuff tells me the FreddyField can do about anything, but I haven't managed to get hold of Gale so I don't know this for sure.

As ET is free and you don't need RTCW to play it I don't know why we shouldn't do so.

Babs, if you play it I'd like some info on maps and things. Give us a PM then :)

I voted for CS:S, would probably prefer the original UT, however not many people still play that :mad:

BF2 is nice also but I have a fair few issues with that atm - graphics stuttering, lag, my helicopters always being magnetic to the ground... :D

will sign up for CS:S in the other thread - provided I can make the day when you set it.

from the looks of things right now, CS:S and BF2 are going to win. if we manage an ET server as well everyone is going to get their chance :)

I've unstickied this. Confirmed games for Gamesday are BF2, CS:S and ET. If *you* feel like a different game, have a quick read of the UvT post and talk to me about it.

cheers G, though there's no need anymore. I've built people having games they really want to play into the the UvT main post, and the winning games for gamesday are known. thanks though:)

darn right! Great idea overall but there are a lot of old skool people about who I'm sure would enjoy some DOOM & QW. Just because we are over 30 doesn't mean to say we are The Forgotten Ones :D

I seem to remember a really decent Doom port that was great for muliplayer (and less blocky gfx) a couple of years ago. Everyone could download that :)

Oh, and QW would be \o/ I'm sure I played a cpl of games with you and Bif back in, oooh, 98 ? :)

The people can be a little annoying I agree but I like the game itself.

And being talked to like that is the better end of what can happen :) I got kicked from five servers in a row today, two of which because I english, two because I was doing too well and I'm still not sure why I got kicked from the last game :)

Just tend to ignore it though and enjoy it when I find a server that isnt full of immature people, like the other night on the KEA server :)
