Only way Mids could ever take relics, is reading when Eggy's ml raid would be.
Enjoy them fo 4 days, 200 Albs could not be arsed to leave the ml raid

gratz mids well deserved.. not prime time but if the albs cant find enough to defend at 1200 on a weekend they dont deserve the relics.. lets hope we see some nice rvr now while albs try to get the relics back

well it's quite sensible really

but just as "lame" as taking a relic from guards at 5am - if there's no defenders there's no defenders.

The main difference here being the albs on the raid did have the option of suiciding out there, compared to the option of staying up late. (since the 5am raids were done by 2-3fg it wouldn't have taken too many mids staying up to push them back - any numbers on how many mids today?)

Both very different from 100 people logging in at 7am and steamrolling relics - since noone in the defending realm would know to login then and the few that would be online anyway wouldn't stand much chance.

true..

can't expect an enemy to wait with raids until you are done sleeping, PvEing or baking cookies

(but at least albs had the numbers on to defend, they just didn't)

edit: but there will always be "some" .. on all sides.

the difference you albs are missing is
PVEing when there is no-one ONLINE to defend is lame
PVEing when no-one can b bothered to leave an ML rush cos u can retake them at 4am anyway, is perfectly legit

I can't believe some albs are whining about this, its dinnertime on a sunday UK time and 1-2pm EU time, and im sure there is 70-150ppl in eggys ml bg. Maybe hibs+mids should post when they RR albs so they can adjust their schedules to accomodate it, just like albs do for hibs and mids at 5am....oh wait. :m00:

because it's better to take the relics when 23,493,847,248 albs will show up, containing at least 50% fotm reroll sorces who nuke your ass for 400+ ? ahhhh the world clearly needs more masochists, where are we going to. Taking opportunities is such a lame thing to do.

My opinion is, well done mids. Taking other relics at early hour surely sux a bit, but taking back your own relics when you can, get a grip, who wouldn't to everything to get his belongings back. It's the same as with keepfighting. I truly hate that, but if it's about helping out the own realm by getting back our keeps I might even consider going there.

It highly amuses me to see the discussion going everytime a relic was taken and it always reminds me of medieval films where the brother of the fallen warrior shouts "vengeance" into the sky.

What I really think is....remove these crap relics from the game imho =)

It still doesnt seem to be clear that albs vastly outnumber the active mid and hib rvr population. Relics ofc have a big say in this, I for one cba much with rvr atm, which makes relics even harder to take.

Mythic remove relics plx, or fundamentally change their effect.
