FH - A disgrace to DAoC?

I woke up this morning, dreading and exam so i dragged myself into the examination hall and compleated the soul wrenching 2 hour exam. I was only then did i realise it was my birthday. Skipping home i went straight on the computer as i have no life and checked my e-mail. To my supprise (and i must admit a bit of joy) i had an e-mail from FH wishing me a happy birthday. "Me?" i said agasht "oh me oh my! This is most thriilling1" With a feavered excitement i opend the e-mail and my heart sank. The contents were as follows:
Hello Leuan,

We at FreddysHouse would like to wish you a happy birthday today!

First of, my name is not Leuan its Mat, if they realy cared they would have botherd to find that out and secondly THAT WAS TO BE THE WORST DAMN BITHDAY CARD I HAVE EVER RECEIVED! i mean, where was the pictures? where was the detailed joke? Obvoiusly no thought had been put into it whatsoever. And it is with this that makes me wonder, does FH actualy care what goes on with the DAoC fans? I have been plaing the game for years now and now i just seemed to have lost interest. If the only place where all gamers from all realms can come together and discuss without biting each others throats is built on a faulty foundation, then whats the point?
Furthermore, when i logged out to voice this complaint, i was met with another shock. My name was not on the list of todays birthdays. Now i just cant see the point in the stupid bithday report if FH cant be botherd to find out the birth dates of ALL of their members.
So it is with this that i am quitting daoc. Goodbye FH and thanks....for nothing. :wanker:

Maybe they didnt care?
1st, Im sure you realized its an automatic-send E-mail?
2nd, Would it had been better if they didnt even bother to make this automated email?
3rd, You need friends to make threads for you, and I see no thread?
4th, I agree that FH isnt all good, but its not the forums fault
5th HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
6th You leaving because noone made you a thread, or because of the automated email? ;)
7th HAPPY BIRTHDAY

So with that I end, a happy birthday I sent, tho it was bit of late an event, but trust in me it was meant. :)

I agree! This is appauling by any forums standards, a measly "happy birthday" no, "hope its a good one" or anything? i mean what if it was the only card he got today? "happy birthday" thats all you could be bothered to type into your little report thingy that mass mails your posters? Well thank you, for caring soooooooooooooooooooooo much :touch:

As for you El Matteo, i hope you had a good birthday :) and im sure your exam results will be outstanding :) also i hope when you get your computer back you can join us on another game, now that DAoC has let you down so awfully.

well, if there was no automated email then he would have not been upset, he did not realise freddyshouse were sending him a e-card, but whne they did, it appears it wasnt worth even opening :p
