Pre-order now?

I noticed the offical post on the WOW site stated that "World Of Warcraft" will be available for pre-order on 26th Nov and that people who pre-order will get a key for beta etc. Does this mean we have to order it from a specific site?

I ask this because you can already pre-order it from some sites:

Both these sites give conflicting release dates 17/12/2004 and 04/02/2005. I hope "Gameplay" is right!

Euro Beta is in January.. So Euro Retail must be after that, ie; 04/02/2005.

No release date as far as i can see yet.

When will the game be released?
We have not yet announced a release date for World of Warcraft. MMORPGs are vast and complex; we want to make sure that we take the time necessary to develop a game that will meet the high standards that our developers and fans have come to expect from Blizzard games.

If you do that, your to late, afaik all the beta key packs been sold out.

Euro beta is already up. Just its closed so far.

So where have people been buying these "BETA" packs?

At game stores that had it, they had a "WoW EU beta pack (with game on retail release)"

Not sure its sold out everywhere, but been sold out at webhallen.com where I orderd mine(did before it beeing sold out tho)

I realy dont want to burn out playing alot of betas tho so Im getting halo2,
HL2 and maybe EQ2 to play while im waiting ^^

It realy sucks tho as Im unemplyoed till January so playing wow would be
so kickass. But I guess thats not an option the way things are now, oh well.

i preordered my copy of wow when i ordered ToA for daoc so i've it's been waiting since february sometime this year and they change to the beta offer for me too ^^
