Me! Tauren Feral druid and I'm thankfully in a reasonably open minded guild that allows me to spec feral. That said, I find myself healing about 80% of the time, but I dont mind as I do get to tank occasionally. I regularly off-tank in AQ40 and BWL and love the all round role.
I think it helps I've got excellent kit as I'm the only raiding feral in the guild, so I always got first dibs on most of the decent stuff. Got good +healing gear too so I've been able to heal well, but I've relied on down ranking and I'm not sure how TBC is going to be for someone with only 48mp5 and crap downranking. I have to say, the guild doesnt allow druids in cat form as their DPS just doesnt cut it and I have to agree with the stance. I've got a 60 Rogue too, thats in blues and greens, and it does a little more dps than my druid cat thats got all epics. Cat has too many problems pre-tbc but I wouldnt be surprised to see cats in groups in the coming months. |

Agree on the druid - get over it. There are better, more useful DPS classes.

Well i got a lvl60 feral druid, i tend to heal when needed and off tank when needed. Saying you cant heal cause you are ferals is just plain BS, 6 manned drakki with 2 warriors, 1 hunter, 2 rogues and me, innervate and 1 large manapot. You just have a few +heal gear in bag.

i have a lvl 60 druid, they're pretty fun to play, but heal wise they are really boring to play, the heals too slow. Havnt played since they got buffed though, so not sure about dps

nothing wrong with either of them. my guild got a few shadow priests thats fighting the rogues for the top dps places when were raiding. having 2 or 3 shadow priests in a raid insted of the odd mage/hunter is acually working great as they can do both DPS and backup heal if needed. mage and hunter can "only" do dps.

Have a shadow priest in our guild that gets into the top 3 in dps and also gens the equivalent of 150mp5 for those in his group. You just cant argue with that really.
And cat in TBC will be different, completely different. With the right kit they'll defo have a chance of a place, we can really compete now. I thik the main issue is, cat has been so underplayed for such a long time few druids will have really good cat kit, and I dont think the pvp kit counts frankly. I'm unimpressed by it, its all about hybrid playing and not specialising in a role. Yes, hybrids will be powerful but you've got to be able to shine at something and, for me, there isnt enough of anything in the pvp kit. Still, given a bit of time I'm sure some kit will be gathered by cat druids and they'll really make their mark. |

I have 35% chance to crit and believe me it crits insanely from day one when i made my druid even before they got that huge buff i was feral and concentrated on getting Feral gear which has took me a while but now i am reaping the rewards.
Druids = fun imo And the Flight form is gonna be the ultimate get away form |

Flight form isn't usable in combat from what i've read/been told though, which is a shame
![]() Decided to spec Balance for the time being, always been more of a fan of spellcasting than melee combat. Probably not the wisest of choices since balance Druids really aren't that valuable when you can get far better suited classes in Mages and Warlocks, but who really cares, it's hella fun to play ^^

not denying that shadow priests can deal shitloads of damage or that feral druids can dps with the best of them at all.
it's more a case of the fact it's hard enough finding a resto druid or holy priest anyway, it drives me bonkers when you're in a group and the priest refuses to heal because they want to play at being a damage dealer. |

If your party leader is too stupid to make sure you have enough healers and assumes he knows everyones spec without asking, well.. don't blame shadow priests
