Don't know why it is down for you - but no.
Account center is (of course) not online. And site is up for me.

Strange. I tried IE, Mozilla and google Chrome but none can load the site for me. Ah well I'll try again tonight. Doesn't matter anyway if the account centre still isn't working

Small gripe, I do wish whoever does their web translations from French into English would learn the difference between momentarily and temporarily.

Momentarily means it would be down for a moment, leading users to reasonably expect to come back within an hour or two and find it up. What they mean is temporarily, it's down but it will be back up at some point. Seen this pretty much everytime part of the site is down for scheduled maintenance.

It really mystifies me why there are any last second issues. GOA is a company experiences in running mmorgs, they have the structure, staff, experience, links, the lot before they even took Warhammer onboard.

Mystic appears to have got things running happily, and i assume we are all playing the same game ?

I know I am not experinced in servers etc at all, but surely if you have it working on one set of servers, cant you just mirror it across ???????

Even if the hardware was 'technically' identical there would still be differences and at this level, those differences could very well mean dysfunction, maybe even breakdowns down the line. They must tweak the whole thing to suit their particular servers.

Further more... GOA has to deal with 5 languages or something.. I dont know if Mythic is doing spanish servers in NA (they should), but this is really a big thing in EU.

what worries me is that by leaving so late to register there is going to be one hell of a rush which the servers can't cope with and crash.
I can remember when SI was released and sitting in front of the PC at 2:30am hitting refresh like a mad loon until I got in

Yeah, they already have traffic on their website for more than there are open beta keys out there.
Or atleast that was the story yesterday.. I dont know how the extra 50k keys will effect that or if it was taken into account.
