problem running war

I just have changed my OS from XP to windows 7 home premium, i did a clean install and had no problems that was until i installed war. I am able to install it no problem but teh game runs very slugish with 10-15FPS in the fastest frame rate settings ( i used to get 50-60fps before in ohh shinny settings) i just dont understand why all my other games run fine if not better than before (wow and aion get 80-90fps on high settings)

i have a quad core 3.0GHz processor, 4096 of ram directx 11 Nvidia geforce GTX 260 2668memory, so i am not sure hwy is running like this sicne i have more than enough of teh minimum requirements .
if any one out ther can help that be great help before i turn to GOA for help ( hoping i dont have to since their tech support si as good as non existen)

i have now contacted GOA but so far their reinstall game option has not proven to do much, apart from been time consuming.
