[SUGGESTION] Please improve the chat system

Our guild has always focused heavily on having a friendly and chatty atmosphere. However, with default chat settings enabled, members chat is often missed. This has and continues to cause problems in guild.

I have reduced this problem by separating my general & combat windows and by also creating an additional tab that shows only chat. These measures have helped but they still feel like a partial remedy, especially when things get hectic in RvR.

I think an interface setting that could provide a 'Simple Chat' option window that cuts away everything except player chat would greatly improve social interaction in the game as a whole.

Its fucking stupid, you cant see any chat and its even worse when your in a BG

Are the filters not working? I unloaded just about everything from the chat window and put it in the system window. You can also create a new window and just use it for guild chat I think.

Not sure. Still, Flim made a post with the proposed 1.1 update and there seem to be some chat channel upgrades in there.
