I love you & all scooba, but on top of the pops she was god damn awful.
  3. mank! Guest

I agree with that. It was quite funny actually. She just hid behind her hair and 'sung', I couldn't tell if she really just didn't want to be there or whether she was just a spaz.
  4. Yes, I agree, I saw her on TOTP and she was beyond dire. However she did a live gig that was broadcast on Radio1 and after her voice had warmed up she sung amazingly well, especially in light of the TOTP debacle.

    Decent:
Guns n' Roses - Sympathy for the Devil

    Shit:
    Marilyn Manson - Tainted Love
  6. doh_boy Guest

Shit :- Will & Gareth - Long and winding road
  7. hoggsboss Guest

i would like to nominate the entire albumn

swing when your winning, to think i wasted good bandwith getting that
  8. I saw her on CD:UK (please ignore this), and she sung live, albeit very poorly. One of the things was that she was jumping around and was going off note whenever she did.
  9. .cage Guest

i would like to beat off in her face

For worst cover version I'll nominate:-

Papa Roach - Gentle Art of Making Enemies.

An FNM classic, ruined by some nu-metal fag0ts.
  12. oh god I forgot about Papa Roach their cover of Gouge Away is deffo my worst cover
  13. echo Guest

    Best:

Beach Boys & Brian McGuinn (of the Byrds, on 12-string guitar) - California Deamin' (Mamas and the Papas)
Guns N' Roses - Live & Let Die (Wings)
    Manics - Charles Windsor (McCarthy)
The Clash - Police on My Back (the Equals)
Nirvana - Love Buzz (Name escapes me..)

    Worst:

Will & Gareth's back catalogue (Elvis et al)
    Super Furries - 4st 7lb (Msp)
Elastica - DaDaDa... (Some electro european bloke...)
Will Smith (I think) - Rock The Casbah (Clash)
Ian Brown - Billie Jean (Jackson)
  14. mank! Guest

Did you see him performed it live?
  15. echo Guest

I did... iffy :/ Nice moonwalk, good band, shit frontman :|

he was so good in the stone roses too :(
  16. mank! Guest

I thought he was a good laugh tbh, I've heard some bad stuff about his treatment of Manics fans on the tour but nothing happened at Birmingham that I noticed :\

He was utter piss compared to the Manics though :D
  17. bodhi Guest

    Ian Brown is a cocklord.
  18. leggy Guest

same goes for all the stone roses :)
  19. bodhi Guest

Aye. I bought the Complete Stone Roses last year. 3 good (ish) songs, the rest were utter turd.
  20. maxi-- Guest

Neil Hannon & Yann Tierson - Life On Mars?
    better than bowies

Belle & Sebastian - Poupee De Cire, Poupee De son
is also super, a sacha distel cover, better than the original!

Neil hannon also covered There Is a Light that never goes out...
    better than the smiths version,

Will Young - Light my fire

is almost as cringeworthy as Scoob's reviews
  21. *Kornholio* Guest

Worst - Will Young, light my fire; Marilyn Manson, Tainted Love; Britney, I love rock n roll

Best - Disturbed doing Shout (tears for fears), they do a good cover of Elenor Rigby too
  22. maxi-- Guest

    oohooh

and Camera Obscura (the scottish indie pop band) - Sugar town

its so sickly sweet the first few times, but its great after that!
  23. Summo Guest

Best - REM covering U2's One. Only available live, I believe.
  24. echo Guest

I have a new favourite, a few nights ago I went to see Jon Spencer Blues Explosion (best gig EVER) and they did the Blues Brothers' theme, but made the intro a nice long anti-george bush rant

I NEED YOU! YOU! YOU! etc..
